But if it’s a really good story, if it’s done well – if it’s really good radio, it’s arresting. It can literally stop you. I was walking home when this piece started, and I couldn’t keep walking. I stood, in a car park, about 20 feet away from my house – because I had to just listen. It’s from an Australian sound art collective who are working on creating stories illustrated with the human voice – Transmit/Receive.
