Open City Doc Fest

 

This September we’re back at Open City Doc Fest with the “Dark Room” – an event to help you develop your audio.

Join us for a constructive crit of short radio documentaries with feedback on a selection of works in progress in front of a friendly crowd. This is a creative gathering where you can share your ideas and independent projects, however developed, with like-minded producers. Everyone is welcome, whether you are playing a piece, just want to come and listen, or offer feedback of your own.

If you would like submit audio for this session, please email Open City. We are able to play pieces or excerpts with a duration of 8 minutes maximum. The session will be led by Nina Garthwaite and Isis Thompson, independent producers and teachers of UCL’s Introduction to Radio module. The event is brought to you by In The Dark, a collaborative project between radio producers and radio enthusiasts best known for its regular live listening events, held in packed venues around the world.
