This month we are partnering with a brand new Brighton-based listening group called The Floating Room. Their first event is fittingly themed on waves:

The waves we live beside and stare at dreamily.
The ones that pull us under, hiding what churns below.
The ones that rise, crash, and care not for our carefully laid plans.

Dive into a sea of sound: expect audio art, short docs, found sound, and more.

The event will be curated by The Floating Room’s Katie Stokes, a Brighton-based audio producer and writer. Her podcast Floating Space explores community, belonging, and mental health – the inspiration for this community gathering.
