As the air gets colder and the days get shorter, we could all use a little laughter.
Talia Augustidis has added another London date for Funny Sounds, her annual evening of audio humour. She’ll be bringing a joyful mix of audio documentaries, radio sketches, broadcasting bloopers and sound art to beat the January blues. This year you can expect absurd investigations, overprotective parents, and love stories gone awry. Talia will also be showcasing some new live performances of her own.
Talia is an audio producer and artist based in London. Her pieces have been featured in festivals around the world, from the Lucia Festival in Florence to the Phonurgia Nova in Paris to Tribeca in New York, as well as on BBC Radio 3, 4, World Service, CBC and This American Life. She is the lead curator of In The Dark London, and this will be her last In The Dark event for the foreseeable before she runs away to clown school in France.
